Please join us for our Spring 2017 meeting of the Greater New York Chapter of the Music Library Association. The New York Philharmonic Archives will be hosting us for this meeting on Friday, May 5, 2017.
The Philharmonic’s Archivist and Historian Barbara Haws and colleagues will be giving us a presentation on their ongoing projects, followed by a tour of the Archives. The schedule will be as follows:
- 8:30-9:00 Meet and greet at the Hull Room in David Geffen Hall. (Enter through stage door on 65th Street opposite Alice Tully Hall.) Coffee, tea, assorted pastries will be provided by the chapter
- 9:00-9:30 (brief) GNYMLA business meeting
- 9:30-10:30 NYPhil Archives presentation by Barbara Haws and colleagues
- 10:30-? Tour of the Archives in the Rose Building
