I’d like to invite you to register for our Spring 2018 Chapter meeting, to be held Friday, May 11, 2018 on the campus of The City College of New York. Thanks to CCNY music librarian Michael Crowley for hosting the chapter.
We will be meeting in the library staff room (NAC 5/337) inside the North Academic Center (btw 136 & 137th street on Amsterdam Avenue). Visitors should bring a state ID in order to gain entrance to the building. Once inside, they will need to enter the Cohen Library through the 2nd floor entrance and take the elevator to the fifth floor and turn right — the staff room is at the end of the hallway.

9-9:30am Meet and greet with coffee and breakfast items
9:30-10:15 Professor Cristina Pattuelli of Pratt Institute School of Information will present on the Linked Jazz project, a linked data project.
10:15-10:45 Elizabeth Davis, head librarian at Columbia University’s Music & Arts Library, will present a snapshot of the activities of a research music library
10:45-11:00 Business meeting
11:00-11:15 Michael Crowley, Chief of the music library at CCNY, will give an introduction to the library, followed by a tour
11:15-12:00 CCNY music library tour
I’d also like to announce that we have accepted an invitation to join several regional chapters for our Fall 2018 meeting. We will be meeting November 8 and 9, 2018 on the campus of McGill University in Montreal. This will be a joint meeting of New York State and Ontario (NYSO), New England (NEMLA), the Quebec chapter of CAML (SQACBM), and GNYMLA. Details to follow in the coming weeks.
