We are currently seeking nominations for the position of Secretary-Treasurer for the GNYMLA chapter. This is a great opportunity to be of service to the chapter. Below is a brief description of what the position entails:
The Secretary-Treasurer is responsible for all financial matters related to the GNYMLA chapter, including dues collection, funds disbursement, maintaining the chapter’s bank account, and producing a brief financial summary report for each chapter meeting. The officer is also responsible for taking meeting minutes for the chapter’s records, and maintaining a list of current members.
The term of service for officer positions is three years. Janelle Varin has done a tremendous job as our Secretary-Treasurer since 2014, and we thank her for her service.
Please let me know if you are interested in serving in this position by March 1, 2017. We will hold an online election in March 2017.
